Doesn't make sense though when I hit download speeds test on PS4 settings it says 19 Mbps but then if test again and again it will give me variations like 8 Mbps and 12 Mbps 19.5 Mbps and 15 Mbps. When you purchase a game, you can choose to start the download to your PS4 remotely via a web browser. To perform a Remote Download, you must have Automatic Update s switched on. On the Order Confirmation page or the Download List on PlayStation Store, select [Download to your PS4] next to the title you want to download.
I don't download large files too often on the PSN, but if you do, it's up to you to decide if you want to switch between your proxy or not. If you're wondering why this works, Redditor tibiazak explains it well. Basically, the PS4 doesn't grab a lot of data at once, but running it through the proxy makes it grab little amounts of data a lot faster.
